9/11/06 Beautiful 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Station Wagon! Only 25 ever made
- 6 yet known to exist. Excellent Condition, garage kept, passed down
through the family and only 31,000 original miles on this rare Fleetwood
Station Wagon. To be clear, that's 31,000 on the car AND engine.
This is the original engine. It has been extremely well-maintained.
It has new tires, new exhaust system, new battery, and a new
paint job in 2000. The suspension and alignmemt systems are perfect -
remember it only has 31,000 miles on it. The seats have been
recovered, but we believe the original upholstery is still beneath the new
upholstery. / All guages and lights are fully functional. It
has automatic bright light dimmer and instant flat tire re-inflation - known
as Pleasure Lift Power PAC. The carpet is clean and in
excellent condition. The headliner is perfect and also original. The engine
is also in excellent running condition. No repairs are currently needed
to drive away securely and safely in the car.
The two problems with the car are: 1) There are limited
small areas where rust is beginning to show under the paint. I
have photos available of all these areas for anyone to view upon
request. Only 5 photos are allowed for this ad. I have
over 40 photos available. The second problem is that the air condition
compressor clutch has recently failed. the cost of this repair is
$75 plus labor to install a new compressor. Otherwise the air condtioning
works well and blows very cold. This Fleetwood has complete hot/cold
climate control and even on the hottest or coldest days, the temperature
stays where you put it. Though this Cadillac Fleetwood Station Wagon
is an extremely rare vehicle, it is still a Cadillac, so all
parts are readily available. Clear Title and original manual are included
