1985 CHEVROLET CAMARO 55,000.00 - This is
a meticulously built third generation blown pro street award winning Camaro.
The beginning of a work of ark such as this starts with
a bare Camaro body and a large grocery list, if you will,
of the perfect components. The body is then prepared
for show quality paint. Adding sub-frame connectors, smoothing out
the engine compartment, firewall and inner fenders serve show & pro purposes.
The front sub-frame is finished in mirror
finish power coating and dressed with chrome plated steering components.
The rear suspension is show quality as well.
A nine inch rear differential is finished in the same mirror finish
power coating. A polished aluminum nine inch center section
houses a 4.57 Detroit locker with 31 spline axles.
Rear suspension compartments include a chrome HodgeKis pan hard bar, chrome ladder
bars and air lift assisted coil springs with shock absorbers.
Brakes front and rear consist of polished aluminum aerospace calipers with
drilled disc. The steering wheel is Budnick
polished aluminum and matches the wheels. Two Holley blue
fuel pumps feed through a pair of polished aluminum fuel filters.
Braided steel lines connect the two pumps to a large
single braid steel line all the way to the front of the
car for pro-show purposes. The cooling system components include
a be cool radiator, Evans pump, braided lines and electric fan.
Dual batteries with shut off switch, for storage keep the
engine compartment symmetrical. The engine is a 355 cubic
inch Chevrolet four bolt main block. The bottom end
is blower ready with a steel crank, Crower rods and 8:1 blower
pistons. Polished Brodex aluminum heads with Crower rockers and
stud girdles start up the stack. A polished aluminum
Littlefield blower with polished blower drive is next. The
blower is topped with a pair of body color 780 vacuum secondary
Holley's with chrome metering plates and fuel bowls.
The transmission is TCI built Turbo 350. The
entire transmission housing is polished aluminum with a chrome B&M trans pan
underneath. The cross member is a polished aluminum custom
piece as well. The entire interior is tweed upholstered.
Seats, floors, interior panels, dash and chrome molly roll
bar are all covered. Raised vinyl scallops trace down
door panels and quarter covers and back up rear panels & floor.
Removable hard board floor mats are tweed covered as
well. Windows, locks, hatch and defrost controls are relocated
out of sight under the console lid. Billet shifter
E-brake and door handles and once again the steering wheel bring what's
outside, inside the car. The recessed dash houses Autometer
gauges on vinyl tweed. This is a multi-show winning
car, built beyond show car specs. This one of
a kind car is the 1999 ISCA Grand Champion and four time
Super Chevy Best of Show Winner. You could be
part of this show winning cars history.
